For many of us, eating more and exercising less is a sure way to pack on pounds, over time. When this behaviour becomes a habit, the brain “rewires” or “reprograms” itself to accept these habits. Those habits drive the way we eat, think, and feel about food. Losing weight and keeping it off means creating new, healthier habits. McKinnon Health Solutions will get you and your brain back on track with the healthier habits you need for successful, long-term weight loss.

There’s no single “perfect” diet. The right diet for you is one that is individualized to you, is healthy, one you enjoy, and one you can follow the rest of your life!

An individualized diet and weight loss plan that “reprograms” new healthy habits into your daily life is the best way to lose weight.

Kirstin McKinnon’s customized weight loss and wellness plans are tailored to your preferences and needs. Her individualized approach includes a plan for healthy eating, exercise, and “reprogramming" your brain to develop new healthy habits.

If you give consent, Kirstin will update your doctor or nurse practitioner on the progress you’re making.

Weight Loss Programs

Kirstin's individualized approach to healthy eating and wellness brings together research from different fields of study to create an effective weight loss program. Kirstin offers monthly payments and no contracts that make it easy to try out the programs!

6 Month Success Program

Includes:

  • Twelve 1-hour consultations over 6 months (2 visits/month)
  • By the completion of the program, receive a full colour copy of the McKinnon Health Solutions program and workbook
  • Regular email check-ins after each 1 hour visit
  • A certificate of completion at the end of the program

Month 1: $300, then $199/month for the remaining 5 months (+tax)

6 Month Empowerment Program

Includes:

  • Two 1-hour visits per month
  • Regular email check-ins after each 1 hour visit
  • Two 30-minute accountability phone calls per month
  • By the completion of the program, receive a full colour copy of the McKinnon Health Solutions program and workbook
  • A certificate of completion at the end of the program

Month 1: $375, then $315/month for the remaining 5 months (+tax)

12 Month Healthy Living Program

Includes:

  • Two 1-hour visits per month
  • Regular email check-ins after each 1 hour visit
  • Two 30-minute accountability phone calls per month
  • By the completion of the program, receive a full colour copy of the McKinnon Health Solutions program and workbook
  • A certificate of completion at the end of the program

Month 1: $375, then $320/month for the remaining 11 months (+tax)

12-Week Weight Loss Class

Class Includes:

  • Twelve 1 ½ hour weight loss classes to learn how to lose weight and keep it off
  • One colour copy of the McKinnon Health Solutions program and workbook
  • Small class size, maximum of 12 participants

$499 (+tax)

Basic 3 Month Maintenance Weight Loss Program

Includes:

  • Three 1-hour consultations (1 consultation per month)
  • Email and text support from Kirstin

$100/month (+GST)
* Offered to clients who have completed a 6 or 12-month McKinnon Health solutions program

Premium 3 Month Maintenance Weight Loss Program

Includes:

  • Six 1-hour consultations (2 consultations per month)
  • Email and text support from Kirstin

$200/month (+GST)
* Offered to clients who have completed a 6 or 12-month McKinnon Health solutions program

* 1-hour one-one-one consultations can be at Kirstin's clinic, via video conference (such as Skype or Facetime) or teleconference.

The weight loss & wellness programs above include a basic exercise plan and recommendations. Detailed exercise programs which include a printed plan for resistance training, aerobic training, and flexibility training, along with exercise instruction, can be purchased as follows:
